My Weekend skin care routine!

I’ve always been pretty girly. I love makeup and all things beauty, so I have been giving myself facials for as long as I can remember. It even turned out to become a whole tradition, where my little sister and I have weekly “sister day” where we stay in, get facials and eat sushi.

A few weeks ago I shared my evening skincare routine with you ladies. This week I am sharing my weekend skincare routine, hope you guys enjoy!

Step 1: cleanse and peel


First I wash and scrub my face with dr vd Hoog face wash and scrub. I like this brand because it’s 100% soap free and it is extremely mild, which makes it accessible for any skin type. Even though the products are super mild, they still clean your pores thoroughly so it really does get the job done.

Step 2: Open them pores up!


Pinterest proves everyday to be an app I love and need in my life! This towel I dampened with a good amount of water and than heartened up in the microwave for about 30 seconds. When it’s nice and hot (not so hot that it’ll burn of that pretty face chille) I’m going to drape it over my face and leave it there for about 5 minutes until all my pores have gotten the chance to open up nicely.

Step 3: the mask

The next step is my favorite one, it’s mask time! This mask I use from the body shop is a pure treat to your skin, it’s the Himalaya charcoal purifying glow mask. This mask cleanses your skin using an ancient Ayurvedic tradition and contains bamboo, green tea leaves and Kenyan tea tree oil.

Step 4: moisture


Last but not least, I moisture my skin with this body shop day cream (in the evenings I use coconut oil or bio oil).
